The main benefit of laser hair removal is that with each treatment you will progessively achieve permanent hair reduction as it targets the hair in its active growth phase. It’s specific dual wavelength systems offers the best precision targeting for hair removal. Other devices including IPL, SHR and CBL use a broad spectrum wavelength which scatters, targeting a range of skin structures, making it less specific for hair removal. There is minimal discomfort compared with alternate temporary methods, treatment times are quick and efficient and you will notice a reduction of ingrown hairs and skin irritations leaving your skin feeling smooth and fresh.

Laser hair removal is a fast and comfortable treatment that can be performed on all areas of your body and face. At Broome Laser Clinic we use the latest technology including Candela’s gold standard medical grade TGA approved GentleMax Pro Plus Laser system together with the Zimmer Cryo 7 cooling system. Laser energy is delivered through a handpiece operated by your technician delivering an intense beam of light, which is absorbed by the hair follicle and converted to heat, while the skin cooling device is used alongside the laser to cool and protect the skin's surface throughout your treatment. The heat damages the targeted hair follicle while the surrounding tissue remains unaffected. The combination of our medical grade devices allows us to treat all skin types safely and effectively.

Treatment areas must be shaved 12 to 24 hours prior to your treatment. FIRST TREATMENT ONLY A small patch of short visible hair in each treatment area when you attend your first consultation and treatment can help us better tailor a plan for you. Please ensure you submit your New Client Laser Hair Removal Consultation Form prior to your treatment (sent via SMS 48 hours prior to your appointment).
Treatment areas to be clean and dry including no makeup, lotion, deodorant or perfume.
No direct sun exposure and protect skin with SPF30+ two weeks prior to your treatment. To optimise your laser hair removal treatments and ensure safe and effective results, we highly recommend avoiding direct sun exposure for the duration of your treatment plan.
No self tan or spray tan application two weeks prior. All tan must be completely removed to perform laser hair removal.
No waxing, plucking, threading, epilating, bleaching, depilatory creams or electrolysis four to six week prior to your treatment and for the duration of your laser hair removal treatment plan.
No use of topical products in treatment areas three days prior eg. salicylic acids, retinols, benzoyl peroxide etc.
No antibiotics two weeks prior to your treatment.

Mild redness, irritation and localised swelling up to 48 hours after your treatment can be expected. Apply aloe vera and/or cool compress as required.
Wear loose clothing, avoid hot showers, saunas, spas, pools, ocean, excessive sweating, exfoliation, self-tanning products and topical products and keep area clean and clear of bacteria for at least 48 hours until mild redness, irritation and localised swelling subsides.
Commence daily gentle exfoliation two days after your treatment and continue for at least three weeks.
Protect skin with SPF30+ and avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks.
